Weight loss isn't just about willpower.
It's about biology.

You’ve tried diets, apps, and perhaps even online prescriptions from faceless providers. But without medical supervision and a holistic approach, results are often temporary and unsafe.

The "Old Way"
Generic Dosing: "One size fits all" prescriptions that often lead to severe side effects.
No Relationship: Chatbots and support tickets instead of a real doctor who knows your history.
Yo-Yo Results: Medication without lifestyle integration leads to rapid regain once stopped.
The Healing Medical Method
Precision Medicine: Dosing titrated specifically to your metabolic markers and tolerance.
Direct Physician Access: You see Dr. Saad. Not a chat bot.
Sustainable Change: We combine FDA-approved treatments with nutrition science for lasting health.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is medical weight loss and how is it different from a standard diet?
Medical weight loss is a physician-supervised program that treats obesity as a chronic metabolic condition, not a lack of willpower. Unlike commercial diet programs that rely solely on calorie counting, we utilize FDA-approved medications, metabolic testing, and doctor-monitored lifestyle changes to target the root cause of weight gain. This approach ensures you lose fat while preserving muscle mass, leading to sustainable long-term results.
Am I a candidate for a medical weight loss program?
Most patients qualify for medical weight loss if they have a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related condition, such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol. However, BMI is not the only factor; during your consultation, we review your full medical history, current medications, and lab work to determine the safest and most effective path for you.
Do you prescribe Semaglutide (Ozempic®/Wegovy®) or Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®/Zepbound®)?
Yes. As a medical practice, we have the authority to prescribe a full range of weight management medications, including GLP-1 agonists like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, when medically appropriate. We do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" pill; we select medications based on your unique metabolic profile, insurance coverage, and health goals.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
While individual results vary, clinical data for modern GLP-1 medications shows that patients can lose an average of 15% to 20% of their body weight when combined with lifestyle changes. Most of our patients begin seeing noticeable results within the first 4 to 6 weeks. We monitor your progress monthly to adjust dosages and ensure your weight loss is consistent and safe.
Do you accept insurance for weight loss?
Yes, we accept most major insurance plans for your medical consultations. However coverage for anti-obesity medications varies strictly by plan. We will work with you to obtain prior authorizations for medication coverage whenever possible.
Why should I see a doctor for weight loss instead of using an online telehealth service?
Safety and personalization are the main differences. Unlike online "pill-mill" services that may never physically examine you, we provide in-person medical supervision. This allows us to monitor your vital signs, listen to your heart and lungs, and accurately track your body composition (fat vs. muscle) to ensure you aren't becoming malnourished. If you experience side effects, your physician is available to adjust your care plan immediately.
Will I gain the weight back if I stop the medication?
Obesity is a chronic condition, and maintenance is a key part of our program. We do not simply stop your treatment cold turkey. Once you reach your goal weight, we transition you to a maintenance protocol. This may involve tapering your medication dosage or switching to non-medication management, supported by the new metabolic set-point and lifestyle habits you’ve built during the program.
